the best thing you can do when bleeding brakes, is to cable tie the brake leaver back to the bar and leave over night. bleed the brakes first as RC46 said. when you cut off the cable tie the next day all the air will have found its way back up the hoses and out the master cylinder.
i have used this method on three NSR,s and it never fails


Best bit of advice ever and never fails... Unless as mentioned above you have the HRC banjo or Brembo radial master cylinder Wink
