Maybe an idea with your modified PGMs then, may be to engrave them somewhere, just to state they are modified? I wasn't suggesting that there is anything wrong with your derestriction, but that it's (a) invisible, and (b) irreversible, should someone want, or even need to (for legal reasons, for example) revert to stock.
