Recently acquired nsr..

Enessr » Tue Dec 16, 2025 8:45 pm

Hello everyone,
My first post here guys, couldn't work out how to sign up because I couldn't
locate the aut. code..
Anyway, I've imported an mc21 nsr with dry clutch, Magtek wheels etc.
I've had to change the crank due to a faulty center bearing, difficult to start, slowly
Stalling at idle etc.
Got a few questions,
Both dry clutch components (Drum+inner drum) have wear marks present, how does one
Know when the wear grooves are too deep?
Anyone know what the cut out channel present on the engine case
Is for? I'm referring to the scribed cut out opposite the breather area.
Can I apply Yamabond sealant and fill this cut out when I install the new crank and colse the cases?
Anyone tried the non VHM straight cut plug heads? I think they are Chinese made
Thanks for any info.
