MC18 Swing Arm bearings

tleighbell » Fri Mar 16, 2018 9:31 pm

Any suggestions where to source all the bearings, bushings, seals etc. that go in MC18 swingarm including the shock linkage/pivot? I did see a kit from Oz on ebay, looks a little pricey at 72 quid. Ordering the parts individually is complicated by the fact that the online parts manual does not list part numbers for all the parts shown in the drawing of the swing arm itself (the drawing of the shock and linkage seems to be OK), and some of the descriptions don't match the drawing which makes me question some of the parts numbers that are there. All Balls has no listing for the NSR but I wonder if the parts from another more common bike might fit. Even getting reliable part numbers for the swing arm bearings, collars, bushings, seals etc. might help.

Also, for the rear brake caliper bracket/holder, the bushing in the big hole where the axle goes through (i think?) is worn out. Is there a part to replace that or do I need the whole thing? There is a used one on ebay but I'd be more confident with something new.

Finally, i need the bushings for the Heim joints in the rear brake torque arm and any associated seals. Again the parts manual does not show the part numbers for these bits. Part numbers would be helpful if anyone has them.

Thanks all.
