Hello

I had the same problem with my mc16 ignition i removed the hard cover on the side with no connector, and i found several loose contacts.
The connector had 5 loose solderings, and all over the print in total 7 loose solderings,and its working again.
I say try it its worth it.
Its a general problem with Honda ignitions.
