I don't allow specific jetting discussion on the public forums because every scenario is different, and I have had problems before with readers blindly using settings that have caused failures.

To me it sounds like someone has removed the air correction (quite why, I don't know!), hence the jets in the "breather" pipes.

It's difficult to improve on the standard setup, and extremely difficult to troubleshoot someone else's attempt to do so! My advice would be to reset to standard settings, including air correction/airbox, and go from there. It may sound like a terrible get out clause, but in the majority of cases, the stock setup just can't be beaten.
