We have our Facebook page(s) for the very reason you mention... so many people are glued to social media day and night. You also cannot argue with the way Facebook's developers deliver a platform to display content that's not only easily accessible, but also easy to create, and produced by one of the major trend setters in the business.

We obviously have NSR-WORLD [over 6300 followers], but also Donny Park (after Facebook insisted I changed the name from "NSR-WORLD Racing") [nearing the 5000 friend threshold], and Performance Engineering [over 3800 followers]. Can't argue with those numbers, or with getting "likes" from names I truly revere like Takuma Aoki and Shuhei Nakamoto on some of our content! Facebook has put us in touch with people at TSR, Moriwaki, and HRC, as well as other companies and private individuals who have helped us develop over the last 3 years.

However, coming back down to Earth, while you can have a bit of a chat on there, and get some quick-fire responses (often from commenters who really should just stick to looking at pretty pictures!), you can't really search out previous technical content. You have to rely on remembering you saw a post about that X number of weeks or months ago, and then go looking for it! (Usually via looking through an associated photo album, which is fine until you find out that whoever runs the page just lumps everything into a single "mobile uploads" album, or into "xxxx's photos" album.)

Hopefully, with over 10,000 [mostly] quality and on-topic posts, this forum will remain the place to get the best info. Even if it ultimately becomes more of an archive than anything else. If only the phpbb search feature was better! Laughing

Please DO NOT PM me for technical advice. My time is precious, and you will probably receive a faster response on the Forum anyway.
